I am a little more generous with the cinnamon and vanilla than the recipe states. So just be sure to go with how your senses are feeling. I am constantly smelling my mixing bowl thinking what else do I need to add!
As I am sitting here typing away I am smelling the aromas of a creamy coconut vegetable korma I have simmering on the stove; and before you question, of course a glass of red is beside me.
Be kind even when you’re tired. Be understanding even when you’re angry. Do more than you’re asked, and don’t ask for anything in return. Don’t silently expect anything either. Listen when someone talks, and really listen too, stop just thinking of how you’ll reply. Tell people that you love them and that you appreciate them.
This is the part of my life where I silently remove myself from anyone who hurts me more than they love me, drains me more than they replenish me, brings me stress more than they do peace, and tries to stunt my growth rather than clap for it.
